Natural dry scalp remedies


There are many factors that are responsible for dry scalp condition, including the frequent use of hair care products such as hair spray, shampoo or conditioner. Too much use of these types of chemical based products and too much sun exposure may cause the scalp to become dry and flaky. In order to treat your dry scalp problem – try to make a proper scalp care routine and use some natural remedies for dry scalp.


Natural remedies for dry scalp


Honey

Use this remedy twice per week until the dryness disappears and your scalp is no longer itchy or flaky

Honey = ½ cup

Apple cider vinegar = ½ cup

Tea tree oil = 2 drops



- Mix all the ingredients.

- Apply to the scalp.

- Gently massage the mixture into the dry, flaky areas.

- Leave on for at least ½ an hour.

- Rinse with warm water.



Extra Virgin Olive Oil



Extra virgin olive oil = ½ cup (an excellent moisturizer)

Honey = ½ cup (Helps soften the skin)

Skimmed milk = ½ cup (good source of vitamin D – for vitality)



- Thoroughly mix all the ingredients given above.

- Apply this mixture to your scalp.

- Leave it on your scalp for at least 30 minutes.

- Rinse with warm water.



Aloe Vera


Aloe vera is very effective in the treatment of dry scalp related problems.

- Massage your scalp with aloe vera extract.

- leave it on for 30 minutes.

- Rinse off the gel thoroughly under warm.

- Use this remedy twice a week.



Oil treatment


- Oil treatment once or twice a week is also essential.

- It helps maintain healthy blood circulation.

- Use oils like olive oil, cedar wood, lavender oil, or peppermint.

- Olive oil is fully loaded with healthy nutrients for the hair, and encourages growth.

- Cedar wood oil also helps promote hair growth.

- Lavender is cleansing, Peppermint will stimulate and cool the scalp.
